The 10th Annual UC Davis Symposium on Language Research

Welcome!

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the Department of Linguistics and the Center for Mind and Brain are thrilled to present our 10th Annual UC Davis Symposium on Language Research! Our theme this year is “Transformative trends in language research” .

Our program includes a keynote presentation by Dr. Sonja Lanehart as well as 27 talks by students across the United States and the world. The talks feature a wide range of topics, some related to language learning and teaching and others appealing to a more general audience. This conference would not be possible without the support of the planning committee and our sponsors. We are also indebted to our financial coordinator, Mary Castillo, and our faculty advisor, Dr. Claudia Sánchez -Gutiérrez. We are looking forward to a fantastic conference and cannot wait to meet you all!
